Challenges of Weddings and Quinceañeras in the Hispanic Market.

Cesar Virgen of San Jose, California.....

Cesar will talk about the challenges he faces in the Hispanic market, what sort of equipment he typically uses, lighting with one or two strobes, and Lightroom and digital album workflow.

Cesar started his photographic journey at a photo lab in San Jose CA at 20 years of age. He eventually started assisting other photographers, that frequented the lab, holding the light-stands and a shoulder Norman battery. He started taking pictures when one of his mentors gave him an expensive Nikon FM2 camera, which he still has. He started liking taking pictures more than developing film at the lab, but not before wasting numerous rolls of film.

The first photography workshop that Cesar took in 2007 completely changed his photography perspective on how to work as a photographer. So he decided to embark on a new adventure and become a full time photographer. That was 9 year ago.

He started learning photography by viewing numerous underexposed, overexposed, and unfocused images at the lab and by observing, while assisting, his mentor at work. The first photographic workshop he attended changed the way he worked as a photographer.

Cesar caters to the Hispanic market which has it own unique challenges.
