This months Belfast PPUG is virtual once again and it allows us to cast the net further afield. We are delighted to bring an experienced speaker and a familiar face to Belfast PPUG to inspire us, perform some demos and take questions throughout.

Mary is an old gamer who replaced her enjoyment of gaming with working with data. That’s how satisfying working with data is to her. She has been a massive fan of Power BI from its infancy to now. She makes her living from Power BI, as owner of Broadtree Solutions, who provide business intelligence solutions for the insurance sector. Based in Belfast, covering the UK & Ireland. She can also be spotted on Game of Thrones, as a Wildling.

Getting started with Tabular Editor
Tabular Editor is a real gift for Power BI users, but it can be intimidating, at least it was to me. But once I “got it”, I love it!
In this session I will show how I have used Tabular Editor in the real-world. Using simple examples, you’ll see how you can:
· Create measures at warp speed
· Enhance your model
· Use calculation groups, once you are familiar with Tabular Editor
· Learn how to construct a simple script that meets your own needs
You’ll leave with better understanding as to why Tabular Editor can help you.
