About us

Most social platforms are engineered to keep you on them as long as possible. PactPodz is engineered to get you off it and doing the thing you said you were going to do.

The product runs on something called the PactPodz Momentum Method. Here is how its pieces fit together:

Daily Momentum Sessions. Twenty-minute video calls every weekday morning. Five minutes of silent planning, then timed rounds where each person says their wins, their losses, their Daily Commitments, their North Star Goal, and a personal affirmation, out loud, in front of the group. The app runs the format. No facilitator, nothing to keep track of, you just show up. This is the foundation. Everything else exists to support it or compound from it.

Your Pod. Four or five people who meet in your session every day for a week before rotating into a new mix. Long enough to know who is flaking and who is showing up. Short enough that nobody gets stuck with anyone, and short enough that the network keeps growing.

Financial Stakes. Every member sets a daily stake amount when they join, anywhere from one to one hundred dollars. Miss too many sessions in a week and the forfeit charges. This is the structural piece that makes the words you say in your session matter outside the session.

Staked Commitments. At least one per week. A specific thing you commit to doing, with money behind it. You have twenty-four hours to do it, then twenty-four for a fellow member to review the proof. Fall short and the forfeit charges there too. This is what turns "I should do this" into "I'm doing this by Wednesday."

The Community. What compounds when you do this consistently. A directory of every member you have shared a morning with. A feed of real people sharing what is working and what is not, with no bots, no ads, and no algorithm engineering your attention. The Board, where members offer services to each other. Co-working sessions for the work itself.

Put it all together and the PactPodz Momentum Method is a daily structure that takes the things people normally do alone, badly, in their heads, and forces them out into a room with witnesses, on a timer, with money on the line.

Who it is for. People whose work only moves if they move it. Founders, freelancers, agents, researchers, coaches, builders of every kind. People who already know other people are not actually optional. People who have tried apps, habit trackers, and group chats and noticed none of them stick.

How to get started. A Sample Session, which this Meetup group exists primarily to host and distribute. Thirty minutes, free, the actual format rather than a demo, on a weekday schedule throughout the week. If it lands, you will know. If it does not, you will know that too.

    Event description
PactPodz is a daily community for people whose work only moves if they move it. Members meet in small groups of four or five (called Pods) for a twenty-minute video session every weekday morning, where each person says their commitments for the day out loud to other real people who will be back tomorrow and remember what they said.

That session is the heart of something called the PactPodz Momentum Method.

The format runs itself through the app: a few minutes of silent planning, then timed rounds where each person names their wins from yesterday, their commitments for today, their bigger goal, and a personal affirmation, out loud. Members back their commitments with real money. The whole thing is designed to take the work people normally do alone, badly, in their heads, and force it out into a room, on a timer, with witnesses and stakes.

This event is your chance to try one. A Sample Session is the same Momentum Method, run as a single thirty-minute version for up to four prospective members and a host. It is not a webinar or a sales demo. It is the actual format, scaled to one session.

    What you walk away with
The same things any member walks away with on a regular morning. A structured space to reflect on what is working and what is not. Clarity on what you actually intend to do today. The experience of saying that out loud to real people instead of a daily planner or a mirror. And a small group of like-minded people who are trying to make the needle move in their own lives, some of whom may have something useful to offer you.

What happens in the thirty minutes
The session opens with a brief lobby for everyone to file in. After five minutes the room locks and no late entries are admitted, so plan to be early. The next five minutes are silent planning. After that, the group moves through timed rounds where each person, one at a time, names their wins and losses, their commitments, their bigger goal, and their affirmation out loud. The final stretch is open discussion. The whole thing wraps within thirty minutes, and the app handles the format from start to finish, so there is no facilitator and nothing for you to keep track of.

    About the no-show forfeit
Real stakes are part of how PactPodz works. Members pick a daily stake amount during onboarding and lose it when they miss commitments. That is the engine the whole thing runs on.
When you register for a Sample Session, you set your own no-show forfeit, the same way our members set theirs. Pick something between one and one hundred dollars that would actually sting to lose. Your card stays on file. If you show up, nothing gets charged. If you no-show or cancel inside the two-hour window before the start time, the amount you set is what gets charged.

So while there is no cost to attend, there is a real consequence for registering and then not showing up. That is on purpose. It is the smallest possible preview of the actual PactPodz mechanic, and the reason a real version of this format would not work as a free webinar.

    Who this is for
People who are largely self-directing their own work. Founders, freelancers, agents, creatives, students, athletes, remote workers, anyone with goals they would rather actually follow through on.

Important: RSVPing on Meetup does not register you for the session.
