**Talk: Unity in Diversity - Are there common answers to some universal questions?**

To mark UNESCO's World Philosophy Day, we invite you to an evening dedicated to exploring some of the great questions about life that human beings have asked – and continue to ask – throughout history. Despite our cultural, historical and philosophical differences, some questions are universal, and the answers given by different philosophers and traditions often overlap.
The evening will consist of 6 concise presentations on some common philosophical themes:

* **The Nature of Reality**
* **The Human Condition**
* **Ethics and Moral Conduct**
* **The Path to Transformation or Liberation**
* **The Meaning and Purpose of Life**
* **The Importance of Myths, Symbols and Rituals**

Each presentation will last about 15-20 minutes and there will be a break in the middle (and also time after the talk) for food, drinks and philosophical conversation.

Admission: £15 (concessions £8) – buffet included.
