Practicing The Work: Online Inquiry Circle

Details

Event Description:
Are you ready to explore the thoughts that cause you stress and suffering—and meet them with clarity, compassion, and truth?
Join others on the path of self-inquiry in a weekly online gathering to practice The Work of Byron Katie—a simple yet powerful process of inner questioning that helps us identify and undo the beliefs that keep us stuck.

Whether you're brand new to The Work or already familiar with the process, you're welcome here. This space is for anyone who feels called to look inward, sit with honest questions, and uncover the peace that lives beneath the mind’s stories.

What to Expect:
🌻 A warm welcome and brief check-in
😮‍💨 Short centering breath
📝 Optional sharing of your completed Judge-Your-Neighbor or One-Belief-at-a-Time Worksheet, and/or any insights that came up for you
🤝 Group witnessing, silent presence, and supportive space
🧘‍♀️ Guided meditation by Byron Katie for integration and gentle transition into restfulness

What You'll Need:

  • An open mind and a willingness to meet your thoughts with curiosity
  • A completed worksheet (Download here: thework.com)
  • Paper and pen to jot down thoughts or insights
  • A quiet, private space for the duration of the session

Group Etiquette:
This is a space for self-inquiry, not advice-giving or fixing. We practice The Work by turning inward, and by honouring and respecting each person's unique process.

Please:
Come as you are. There’s nothing you need to be or become.
Speak from your own experience. This is a space of self-reflection, not teaching.
Listen with presence and without interruption. Practice listening to understand, not to respond.
Notice if discomfort or judgment arises within you. Take note–It may be a sign you're believing an untrue thought. Use it as a clue for your own inquiry.
Refrain from offering unsolicited feedback or solutions. Each person’s clarity unfolds in their own way and time. After all, who am I to know what’s best for someone else?
Respect confidentiality. What is shared in this space, stays in this space.
Know that you are free to remain anonymous. You’re welcome to keep your camera off or use an alias—whether for yourself or on your worksheet. Come in whatever way feels most comfortable and safe for you.

This is not a workshop or a teaching session—just an open, welcoming space to contemplate, to share, and to witness truth unfolding together.

I look forward to sitting in inquiry with you 💛
