The Virtual Reality Metaverse is the next best thing to real life and will be a big part of the future. Best of all it is free and you can do it on a regular computer with a microphone.
It's also fun because you can dress up in your favourite avatar outfit. Whether that be dressing up as an Anime Character, Mickey Mouse or Dwayne the Rock Johnson.
People can see and hear you in real time and you can express yourself with body movements when you tell your best jokes. As well as play games together, lounge and watch movies. It's allot more personal than ZOOM chats that don't feel natural with dead silence moments.
Using the free VRChat version you can enter the VIrtual Reality Metaverse using a regular PC (Recommended requirements below), Phone (Android and Iphone Beta) or an Oculus headset. Most computers today should be able to handle VRChat since it has been out for almost 10 years and has easy minimum requirements.

- Download the FREE VR Chat from your Oculus Play store, Android Play Store or PC on the steam network here : https://bit.ly/39mF1Fe
- Test your installation of VRCHAT to make sure it works before the event.
- You will then be sent a message via the Meetup Messaging system giving you the initial VR Chat Room number a few days before the event.
- We will meet in the initial chat room and later move to different rooms to meet people all over the world.
There is nothing to lose to try a new way of networking and meeting with people.

Let's have some fun downtown after people finish work / school at downtown Freeplay Toronto. Where we can play video games, eat, drink and be merry. They have lots of old classic nintendo games for us to play at much as we like. Note there is a $10 cover charge collected in cash that goes directly to the venue and not the Pragmatic Tech Group.
