David Shrigley's Opening Exhibition

David Shrigley is coming to Prague for the first time (at least with his art - perhaps he's been here just as a tourist before, but we can't know that for sure) with his own solo exhibition! How cool!

And the vernissage of this exhibition takes place on Tuesday 11th February at 6pm at the Jiří Švestka gallery with the artist himself present. So, if you're fond of his very specific kind of art, then I think this is the perfect opportunity to meet him and see some of his new never before seen prints!

Mr. Shrigley's art is full of dark sarcasm and absurd humor. This exhibition should be slightly related to Kafka, since we are in Prague and he's kind of a big deal here.
Its not everyones cup of tea, but that's of course not what art is about. It isn't and shouldn't even be everyones cup of tea.
Speaking of tea though, Id like for us to gather after the exhibition and have some warm / cold beverages of your preference and perhaps speak of our impressions of said exhibition.
I suggest meeting in front of the gallery a few moments before the start. More information is to come - upon shown interest.
