I will be going to the cinema even if nobody on Meetup joins, so last-minute RSVPs are quite fine.
Smaller and arthouse cinemas are preferred and the movies are English-friendly unless stated otherwise.
Everyone's welcome, as long as you don't talk loudly during screenings. ;-)

Please join us on Saturday, January 17th, for a screening of Sunset Boulevard at Kino Světozor. The movie begins at 20:30. I’ll be at the Kino Světozor bar from 8 pm; please look for me (wearing a beige coat) for a drink and a chat before the screening.
The movie, a noir directed by Billy Wilder, was released in 1950 and follows ‘…Norma Desmond, a silent film star-turned-delusional recluse. A tragic downward spiral is triggered by the arrival of Joe, a handsome down-on-his-luck writer, who is imbued with just enough curiosity and self-loathing to be lured into Norma’s world. Melding gothic decadence with noir cool, razor-sharp satire with twisted romance, Wilder’s film is as ruthlessly ambitious as its protagonists.’ (See here.)
