Please join us on Friday, February 13th, for a screening of Loves of a Blonde (Lásky jedné plavovlásky) at Kino Ponrepo. The movie begins at 20:30. I’ll be at the Kino Ponrepo café from 8 pm; please look for me (wearing a beige coat) for a drink and a chat before the screening.
The movie, directed by acclaimed Czech filmmaker Miloš Forman, was released in 1965 and follows ‘Andula, an innocent girl from a factory town, … desperately in search of love. She believes she’s found it when she beds Milda, a charming young musician visiting from Prague who is, however, only looking for a casual encounter. When Andula doesn’t hear from him, she packs up and heads to Prague.’ (See here. Read more here.)
