‘The Dog Stars’ on Friday 28.8 at 17.30h at Kino Lucerna

Hi everyone!

Join us on Friday, August 28th, for a screening of The Dog Stars at Kino Lucerna. The film begins at 18.00.

You’ll find me at the Lucerna cafe at 5.30pm.

The Dog Stars (2026) continues Ridley Scott’s fascination with survival, isolation, and the fragile boundaries of humanity. Set in a world devastated by a pandemic, it pairs expansive post-apocalyptic imagery with a tense, character-driven thriller about hope, trust, and the need for human connection. As with Blade Runner, Scott creates a future that feels both visually monumental and deeply intimate.

From a neon-drenched future Los Angeles to a ravaged American wilderness, Ridley Scott gives us two worlds on the brink and one enduring question: when everything else is stripped away, what makes us human?

Come enjoy the screening and stay for a drink and a chat about the film afterward!

If you’d like to join us, please purchase your own ticket here. I will be sitting in row 3 seat 4.

Kind request: if you register to attend but are unable to join, please change your RSVP accordingly.

Hope to see you there!
