PUZZLE CARD WORKSHOP - FREE EVENT - ARTS & CRAFTS!

February 26
Přístav 7, Holešovice (V Přístavu 24)
From 7:00 PM

Before love notes were instant, they were folded. Carefully. With intention.
In the 18th and 19th centuries, people used Victorian puzzle purses to hide poems, romantic messages, and tiny keepsakes — sometimes even a lock of hair — inside beautifully folded paper. You had to open them step by step to get to the heart of it.
The idea comes from Japanese Tato origami, and later became a popular (and very personal) way to court in England and America. No envelopes, no seals — just clever folds keeping the secret safe.
In this workshop, we’re giving this old tradition a modern life.
You’ll make your own puzzle purse using beautiful paper, and turn it into a card, a love note, or a small gift wrapper that actually feels special.
No experience needed. Just hands, paper, and a bit of curiosity.
