Let's visit the Tábor city

Let’s visit the cute south Bohemia city of Tábor. It was found by Hussites in 1420 and has beautiful medieval old city centre.

The city is good to go in whatever weather so if it gets rainy the trip won't be cancelled but adjusted.

What we can visit there:
· Botanical garden
· Old city center
· Castle tower Kotnov
· Some nice restaurant for lunch
· Have a nice shorter hike around the river Lužnice (about 5 km only) if the weather cooperates
· Old town hall, Museum of Hussites and medieval ceilings (length approx. 500 m) if the weather doesn’t cooperate

In the morning we will explore the city centre, the castle tower and eventually the Old town hall or ceilings.

In case of good weather a small afternoon hike might be like this – around the river, or it can be a bit longer if we decide so.
Short hike around Luznice

Travel information:
We will meet at 8:50 at the Main Railway station upstairs next to the Burger King. Train goes at 9:20, we shall be in Tábor at 10:21.

Train back goes approx. every 30 minutes, we will see which one we would like to take.

I will move the event to different day only in case of heavy rain.

Cost:
Museum and tower are about 300 CZK but we can go just for part of it.

You will not be charged any fee for the trip but any contribution for organizing and to cover the Meetup organizers fee will be welcomed (whether 50 CZK, 100 or more is up to you).
