Thanks to your contributions we managed to make a new meetup in January this time hosted by Avast in their super building.

Hosts and speeches:

Nicola Scaramuzzino is a Quantitative analyst from Barclays. Nicola will bring us a fresh insight into Multiple Dispatching and Business Implications of Julia:

The multiple dispatching approach, combined with the performances of Julia, can be a game changer for how you see problems, especially from a business point view.
In the talk there will be discussed such business implications using key examples from the library FinancialMonteCarlo.jl and from Julia Base class system.

Tomáš Pevný besides of his work at Avast is also a researcher for the Czech Technical university and he will show us how they are using in Avast Julia and Multiple instance Learning to train Neural Networks in Avast.

Matěj Račinský is junior researcher in Avast and he'll show you tips for development in Juno and how to effectively write and debug Julia code there.
