Join RSP Adventures for a scenic and active cycling day trip to one of the most beautiful regions in North Bohemia, combining history, nature, and a refreshing lakeside finish. 🚴‍♂️

Our journey takes us to the stunning Máchovo jezero, a picturesque lake surrounded by forests, sandy beaches, and rolling hills. Although often called a lake, it is actually a historic fishpond founded in the 14th century by Charles IV. The area later inspired the famous Czech romantic poet Karel Hynek Mácha, giving the lake its current name and a lasting cultural significance.

We’ll cycle through forests, quiet countryside roads, and scenic viewpoints, with beautiful views of the iconic Bezděz Castle, a Gothic castle standing high above the landscape.

The cycling route takes around 6 hours including relaxed breaks, with plenty of time for photos and enjoying the scenery.

After the ride, we’ll head to the lake for a swim, a relaxing break on the beach, or a drink before returning to Prague. 🏖️
