Talk: Michal Wojcik: Another Kaggle Success Story
Abstrakt: Michal Wojcik, the speaker of this meetup, is a senior researcher in Avast Software. It's only a few months ago when he and other 672 teams took part in a Kaggle challenge called "Flavours of Physics: Finding τ → μμμ" (based on a dataset from Large Hadron Collider, trying to find charged lepton flavour violation).
Not only he took part in this very challenging competition, but his solution was 4th best among all of the participants, just 0.00078 points behind 1st place.
Michal will tell us more about the contest and mainly about the methods he used in his solution.
