Music & Love
Details
Dear Music Lovers,
These events are meant for us, the Music Freaks, walking out there.
There is a story about a guy who was playing the air drums while walking in broad daylight. Honestly, I do not remember even one second when I used my hands to express the rhythm while walking the streets. When people started to complain ("What the hell is he doing?")... well, I was a teenager, and I fell so hard in love with the music. Today, it is still the most honest trait in my life. Unfortunately, I still move my head and legs regardless of where I am (hopefully, I keep my arms still).
(Disclaimer: I haven't been diagnosed with any me(n)tal illness, and for sure, I have no plans to make an appointment.)
The other day, I saw a woman dancing in the street. I kept a good distance as her dancing was very wide (Arms Wide Open), and assuming she was a drug addict, felt like a fair assessment of reality.
Then I got inside the train, and she changed from dancing to singing. From that moment, I kept my eyes on her. I didn't pull my earphones down to listen to her (my music was better, I knew that for sure), but her expression was so honest... she knew all the words, eyes closed, singing with a full and open mouth. That was true, unconditional love for music.
I know I am not alone in this world. We do exist. We are honest. We live our lives as they truly belong to us, and we do not hesitate even when people laugh at us. We do not live the life of other people.
Sincerely,
Comes The Rain
