What we’re about
Dear Music Lovers,
This group is founded on a simple, powerful belief: for some of us, music is not just a hobby, it's the very language we use to define our lives. This is a call to all who feel that connection, whether you are a dedicated musician pouring your soul into your instrument, an ardent listener who finds meaning in every note, lyrics, or anyone in between who understands that music is a fundamental part of who you are.
The primary goal of this community is to bring together like-minded individuals. We aim to create a space for those who truly understand the immense dedication, the frustrating challenges, and the profound rewards of being a player. This is a path that inevitably shapes your personality, sharpens your intellect, and connects you to a unique tribe. Here, you won't have to explain why you spend hours alone practicing a single passage or searching for the perfect tone; I get it.
And let's not forget our roots. We are metalheads, but our love for complexity, technicality, and emotional depth means we hold a deep and abiding respect for Classical and Jazz music. We are all part of one vast, intricate family of sound. In that spirit, our meetings are simple: let's gather for a good dinner, share some drinks, and spend quality time engaged in what we love most—talking about MUSIC.
A Crucial Note on Our Ethos:
I want to be unequivocally clear about the purpose of our gatherings. This is a community built on a shared passion for music, not a platform for dating or chasing. The reality of the genres we love is that the musician community is predominantly male. If your primary intentions are romantic or otherwise, I respectfully ask that you please find another group better suited to your needs.
Furthermore, this is a sanctuary from posturing and pretension. So, please, gear lovers who only want to talk specs, classical snobs who look down on other genres, self-proclaimed satanists, pop, electronic, hip-hop, rap enthusiasts, and... dentists. Please spare me as well. We are here for the music that challenges us, not the ego.
If these words do not offend you but instead resonate with something deep inside, then you have found your home. Please show up. There is no better time and no better place for you than right here, with us.
I hope to see you soon, Music Lovers.
