Details
Join the Prairie Club on a hike along the Illinois Prairie Path in Historic West Chicago. We will walk along the West Chicago Prairie a premier natural area with over 600 species of native plants and animals. The city of West Chicago is best known for being a major railroad hub in the 1800’s and the spur was once an electric train track.
We will hike out and back for a total of 3 1/2 miles. After our hike we will meet a mile away in downtown West Chicago at a new cafe called Raise. They have soups and sandwiches in addition to cinnamon rolls muffins and great coffee.
