Kayak at Skokie Lagoons

Join The Prairie Club to kayak or canoe at Skokie Lagoons on Sunday, August 17. Meet at 1 p.m. at the boat launch at 1770 Tower Road, Winnetka, Illinois. This is an easy float experience, rich in water fowl and other natural beauty. You can launch your own watercraft or rent one at the rates below:

Single kayak - $25 per hour
Double kayak - $35 per hour
Canoe - $30 per hour

Although the outfitter does not take reservations, they claim the wait for a watercraft is rarely longer than 10 minutes. Please bring water, snack, sunscreen, sun hat and sun glasses.
