McKee Marsh 3.2 mile hike 1 mile option for golden agers 🙂

Join the Prairie Club of Chicagoland for a 3.2 mile hike at McKee Marsh. There will be an option for a 1 mile lead hike, as well.
We will be hiking the loop trail, which is an easy, flat terrain. All are welcome at this event, including well behaved, leashed dogs.
Blackwell's McKee Marsh features many wildlife species. There are two vernal ponds where amphibians such as the northern leopard frog breed. Bird species such as the wood duck, blue-winged teal and solitary sandpiper forage in the area.
Come out and enjoy nature! Bring your binoculars for a better view of the marsh, as there are a few lookout areas along the trail.
We will meet in the entrance parking lot at 11:00 am.
