What we’re about

Book Club "sort of". It is more of a book club "prequel". Let me explain:

My novel, "Butterfly", is releasing internationally on 17 November 2025. It is upmarket fiction based on real event which took place in Ohio in the early 90s. The general theme of the story is the impact of false accusations. I have a window of opportunity to edit between now and 3 November. It was definitely written with book club interests in mind. There is a book club discussion sheet as well as other book club-friendly resources in the link below.

What I am looking for is a group of people to spend a couple of hours a week discussing the novel with me... maybe 5 or 6 chapters a week, or more often if it suits you. There are a total of 41 chapters and 392 pages. It isn't a TOME. I want the work to be the best it can be, so I am going to try to enlist a group of people who know books to help.

I am a down-to-Earth screenwriter, not a novelist... well, I guess I am technically a novelist NOW, but you know what I mean. No pretention here. Real people with real personalities wanted.

Information about the novel may be found here: Novel I will provide ARCS (advance reader copies). There is no need to buy anything. It should go without saying, but there is no cost to attend.

Content Advisory:
This novel contains emotionally intense scenes, including depictions of sexual trauma, social ostracism, and self-harm. These elements are portrayed with sensitivity and purpose but may still be distressing for some readers.
