Learning to modify light is a skill developed while creating high quality and predictable light in a photograph. In this 2.5 hour hands-on workshop, Westcott Top Pro instructor Randy Kerr will be using many of Westcott's top products to teach and demonstrate these skills in a studio portraiture setting.

We will have a live model on set to demonstrate products such as the Spiderlite Kit, Ice Light, and Sky LUX Rapid Box. We will be exploring the use of both continuous and strobe lighting. This is an interactive workshop, so students will have an opportunity to shoot the model, and will receive a model release for use of images in their portfolio.

Topics Include:

Light Quality Light Direction Metering Equivalent exposure Posing, and more! What to bring:Your DSLR camera, portrait ranged lenses, memory cards, fully charged batteries. All lighting will be provided.

Whether you already own a Westcott product, or are still pondering your purchase, this class will provide valuable insight.

But wait! Theres more!! When you attend this class, you will recieve a $25 certificate to use on any Westcott lighting kit!! This class is for the Intermediate-beginner through advanced skill level photographer. Students should have a basic understanding of manual controls on their camera.
