Are you fascinated by the power of markets to predict the future through the wisdom of the crowd? We are a community of prediction market traders, geopolitical forecasters, sports bettors, effective altruists, and people interested in forecasting all types of events.
Our group aims to bring together people who are fascinated by and passionate about prediction markets or actively engaged in prediction market platforms (such as Polymarket, PredictIt, Kalshi, and Metaculus) to discuss, share knowledge, and exchange experiences and ideas on how to improve forecasting.
WHAT ARE PREDICTION MARKET
Prediction markets (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prediction_market) A prediction market is a trading platform where participants buy and sell contracts based on the projected outcomes of specific events. These markets aggregate diverse opinions and leverage the wisdom of crowds to provide highly accurate forecasts on topics such as:
