Windsor Unearthing Earth’s Deepest Fossil Secrets

Join us for an afternoon dedicated to uncovering the prehistoric history hidden right beneath our feet. We are gathering to explore the fascinating fossil record of the Windsor area, looking at how geological shifts have preserved remnants of life from millions of years ago. Whether you are a long-time collector, a student of geology, or simply someone who finds the deep past endlessly captivating, this session is meant for those of us who like to look at the ground and wonder what stories are buried there.

We will keep things informal and conversational, focusing on local findings and the techniques used to identify and preserve these ancient treasures. It is a great opportunity to connect with other local enthusiasts, share stories about your own discoveries, and learn a bit more about the specific environmental conditions that shaped our region’s unique fossil layers. Bring any questions you have or even a favorite specimen if you would like to share it with the group.

We have limited space for this session to keep the discussion manageable and friendly, so please let us know if you can make it by clicking the RSVP button. We look forward to seeing you there.
