Then join the National Society of Black Engineers DC Professionals, Thursday Network, and Generation Next at “Capitalize on Your Dreams,” the 2016 Entrepreneurship Conference! Participate in a day of interactive workshops and ample networking opportunities with DC's premier entrepreneurs. The conference will be Saturday, March 19, 2016, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm, at BAE Systems (80 M Street SE,
Washington DC, Navy Yard Metro Station).

This will be the fourth year this conference has taken place in the nation’s capital and it gets better every year. New workshops to be presented this year include “Performing a Legal Check Up” and “Juggling a 9-5.” Notable speakers include: Brian Williams of PurchaseBlack.com; Rakia Finley, CEO and Founder of Surge Assembly; Angel Rich of TheWealthFactory.com; and Philip Reeves, Manager of Small Business Technology and Innovation in the DC Government Department of Small and Local Business Development.
For the fourth year, there will be an Elevator Pitch Competition! This will be a great opportunity for attendees to improve and hone presentation and speaking skills. Some of the prizes include a $150 cash prize, a 30 Day Generation-Next Startup Bootcamp, a 2-Hour Legal Strategy Session, and 3 months of
