Diwali is India’s biggest festival—families gather to decorate their homes, draw Rangolis, prepare endless snacks, and enjoy prayers, meals, and fireworks.
It’s a feeling of love, light, new beginnings, and belonging.
This year, we’re bringing that same warmth to Lille, so you can celebrate as if you were with an Indian family.WHAT TO EXPECT
- A Cozy Family Welcome: Enter the house as if stepping into a family gathering—be greeted with a Tilak and fresh flowers.
- Create Rangoli Together: Experience Indian culture by making colorful Rangolis and connecting with others in a joyful way.
- Light Up the House: Just like in India, we’ll light Diyas and candles around the home, filling it with warmth and festive glow.
- The Grand Diwali Dinner: We absolutely won’t miss the most essential part of a true Diwali celebration—the food!

Italian Kitchen Exchange: Homemade Pasta Dinner & New Friends
Gambetta Lille, Rue Manuel, Lille, FRThis time at Cultural Kitchen Exchange, we’re taking you to Italy for a cozy dinner – from starters to dessert, featuring traditional dishes with tender homemade pasta !
No workshop, no hard work – just come, enjoy freshly made authentic Italian food, and spend a cozy automn evening making new connections and friends.
We’ll kick things off with a fun icebreaker to help everyone feel comfortable, then we’ll share dinner together.
***Menu:
Starter: Tortino di patate with sun-dried tomatoes and cheese.
Main Course: Tortelli di erbetta – Herb and ricotta ravioli with delicate homemade pasta, prepared according to tradition.
Dessert: Chocolate mousse, light and fluffy.***
To wrap up the night, we’ll play a funny game, where you will become half Italian — and maybe win a prize!
