Active Threat Workshop - Because seconds count!

Open to the public! Ages 18+ are welcome, and young adults may attend with a parent. Veterans, active-duty military, and law enforcement officers are encouraged to join as well. Whether you’re an everyday citizen or a trained responder, this workshop will give you the knowledge and confidence to act when it matters most. Come learn, share, and be ready because preparation saves lives.

About the Workshop
This workshop prepares citizens and Rapid Response Force (RRF) members to recognize, respond to, and survive active threat situations such as shootings or knife attacks. Participants will learn practical Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs), review real-world incidents, and engage in hands-on discussions and realistic exercises to build confidence and readiness for sudden, deadly encounters in everyday environments.

This workshop does not focus on understanding an attacker’s motivations, but rather on the urgent actions that can help ordinary citizens or armed responders stop or survive a sudden deadly attack. The information presented may differ from other sources, offering additional options and perspectives to help you choose the best response for your specific situation.
