That’s why we create a series of events in Kyiv and Barcelona that will bring together industry experts and Preply leaders to explore the latest in AI, engineering, product, and design trends. Expect real-world case studies, insightful discussions, and practical takeaways.

We couldn’t think of a better topic for our first meetup than AI at Preply! We’ve built a strong foundation in AI, and now we’re ready to share our journey, from how it all began to why AI is central to our strategy. Plus, we’ll dive deep into the tech behind personalized learning and the engineering challenges our team is solving.

• Andreas Grammenos, Senior Research Scientist, will break down how we quantify the learning journey over time - tracking user aptitude and memory for personalized learning.
• Andrea Rojas, Senior Engineering Manager and Serge Harbg, Senior Full Stack Developer, will take us behind the scenes of our AI tech architecture, the challenges the team faced, and the lessons we’ve learned in building AI-powered features.
