Thumb Butte Hike

Hike the Thumb Butte loop trail in the counter-clockwise direction from parking lot (326 to 314 to 33 eastern loop). This is about a 2.9-mile loop that ascends slowly to the peak.

FREE PARKING ON WEDNESDAYS.

NOTE: This hike is more strenuous if it is attempted in the clockwise direction. The steepest portion of this hike is on the eastern loop of trail 33 (there are 3 benches along this portion of the trail at 0.25, 0.4 & 0.65 miles from the main parking lot).
