Star Talks at Acker Park Friday, Sept 19 ~ correct address :)

Come out and say hello. I look forward to meeting some of the groups newest members, so come out and introduce yourselves :)

We went to a Star Talk several years ago and it was very interesting.

In these free one-hour presentations, participants will learn to identify the constellations and listen to ancient legends and modern scientific discoveries about the stars.

Programs are held at the south entrance to Acker Park.

This is a free, public event.

Dress for the weather.

Bring a chair. Beverage. Mosquito repellent :)

The talk starts at 7:30pm.

This is at Acker park, but the entrance is the south entrance accessed from Mt. Vernon Ave. (Senator Highway). Take Senator highway (from Gurley) just past milepost 1 and then turn left on Nathan Lane. Short distance to left on Autumn Breeze St. Follow it to the parking lot.
