Ellevated Hike - Aspen Creek to Thumb Butte Out & Back

Ellevated hikes are long , very fast-paced hikes with very little stopping. The pace will be 3-3.5 mph. Please bring a snack for our break. I wait at intersections and I'm always willing to stop for a quick nature/wardrobe change break.
If you haven't hiked with me before, I will message you to make sure that this is your type of hike.
The hike is up & down the whole way. When we get near Thumb Butte we'll hike down the gradual side and everyone will hike back up the paved side at their own pace. The paved side ascends over 500 ft in .65 miles, so these are very steep switchbacks. We'll take a break at the bench & wait for everyone to catch up, then head back the way we came.
