Let’s go on a long hike in the forest!

I haven’t led a long hike in a while so let’s go! We will be hiking approximately 10.5 miles starting on Garden Party Trail 324, to Garden Grove Trail 392, to Circle Connector Trail 322, and onto to Potts Creek Trail 327. At this point we will turn around and go back on Potts Creek Trail 327, to Circle Connector Trail 322, to Thumb Butte Bypass Trail 326, to Miller Creek Trail 367, to Garden Grove Trail 392, and finally finishing back on Garden Party Trail 324.

I do like to start early to beat the heat in the summer weather so we will start at 6:30am. Please remember to bring water, electrolytes, and sweet and salty snacks. A hat is recommended and hiking poles if you use them.

We will meet at the White Rock Trailhead. Directions to the trailhead:
From downtown Prescott drive west on Gurley Street which will become Thumb Butte Road. Continue up Thumb Butte Road past the main parking area for about 1.8 miles. The White Rock Trailhead is located in a dirt parking lot on the north (right) side of the road.
