INTRODUCTION TO THE NIGHT SKY.
In these one-hour programs, participants will learn to identify the summer constellations, see the Milky Way across the night sky, and listen to ancient legends and modern scientific discoveries about the stars.
Programs are held at the south entrance of Acker Park. From Gurley St. drive south on Senator highway (Mt. Vernon Ave.). In one mile, turn left on Nathan Lane and follow it to Autumn Breeze Ave. Turn left on Autumn Breeze to the Acker Park parking lot.
