Details

This months walk will be around 3.5 mile and start at the entrance to Haslam Park. We will stroll along the avenue, down the steps and head towards the new basin associated with the millennium link. Form here, we will make our way to Tom Benson Way, picking up the Millennium Link and guild wheel eventually making the way to the Final Whistle Cafe on the canal. After refreshments, we will stay on the canal, making our way to back to Haslam Park.

The nearest bus stop, if coming from Preston is close to Newton Road. Cross at the crossing close by to the bus stop. If coming from Lea/Larches area, the stop is outside the Brierwood surgery. If driving, you need to be coming from the Lea side as the carpark is from the dual carriageway.
