Hurst Green Longridge Fell & Tolkein Trail 9 or 14 Miles

At 10:30 AM we will start from the Village hall car park and head down Greehgore to Longridge fell. Making our way over the fell on good paths and tracks to the trig point where we should get splendid views of the Ribble Valley. We will then retrace or steps to the point where we drop down from the fell before we make our way to the road. Approx 2.5 mile of road walking (hopefully not too busy) to Walkers Fold where we join the field paths and tracks to Stoneyhurst college. (If you want a smaller 9 mile walk you can drop off the main walk here) We will then make our way along the Tolkein trail back to Hurst Green.
