Nicky nook figure of 8

Walk starts 07.30am. Total ascent of 950 feet...
This is an early morning, figure of 8, walk, apx 6 miles...with no break, but water stops as necessary. Starting in Scorton, meet opposite the toilet block on the high street. This walk is a continuous climb from the start but very gentle at the start until we reach bottom of Nicky Nook. The route follows, quiet roads and fields (maybe muddy). There are a few styles to climb over. To reach the top of Nicky Nook (twice) we climb up two lots of steep steps . ... we descend down a steep hill, and descend down the first steps we climbed up... walking poles useful, long trousers recommended. You need to be quite fit to negotiate these steps.. if the weather is on our side we should have great views of Morecambe Bay.. dogs welcome but must be on leads in fields due to sheep... breakfast will be at The Barn after walk for anyone who wishes
