Meet small car park opposite B and M bargains on Preston Docks PR2 2YN.
I am not aware of any parking restrictions if you park on B and M carpark...10.30 am prompt start. Walk should finish by 2pm. But sometimes the walks can run late.
Dogs welcome.

7 miles or 6 for shorter route... This is a leisurely flat walk. Walk around Preston Docks basin and onto the River Ribble path. We follow the Ribble and cross over Old Penwortham Bridge to continue our walk up to the new Tram Bridge... slight, gentle incline to get to the bridge.. after crossing the bridge we make our way to Avenham Cafe for a break. This is only a 20 minute break. There will not be time to purchase food. Please bring food if needed.
We continue out of Miller Park, along the River, back across Old Penwortham Bridge to follow the Ribble back towards the docks. At the end of the docks you have the option to continue to The Bull Nose or return to your car or coffee at the Marina Cafe.
