Meet GARSTANG. Towers and Gornall PR3 1WZ*
7.5 mile figure of 8 walk.* This is a 10 am start, due to potential heat. *expected finish time 2.30 pm but sometimes walks finish later.
Meet outside Tower and Gornall Accountant PR3 1WZ. There is a pay car park next to meeting place or plenty of free street parking (text me for road names). £2 fee for non Rambler members please. Ramblers, please bring Rambler membership passes.

This is a leisurely walk. Although its fairly flat walk there are a few small inclines, and short descents.
We follow the River Wyre, through woods and fields, a little road walking. There is a steep descent to a wooden bridge to cross a brook, or you have option to walk through the brook. If deemed too wet or deep there is an alternative route, which we will all follow. There maybe a field of cows, and sheep. Dogs welcome but MUST be on leads at all time.
There are a few styles to climb. There are steps over a railway line.
We do not climb Nicky Nook !!!
There will be a max 30 minute break at the Applestore... please do not order food for table service... but takeaway drinks should be ok.
We complete the walk back to Garstang where u are free to explore the town once the walk has finished.
