Mt Tanglefoot - 19km. Moderate to Hard

Details
Grade: Moderate to Hard
Total Elevation Gain: 864m
Distance: 19 km
Pace: Moderate (4.5km PH)
Meeting Point: Wirrawilla Rainforest Walk
Host Contact Number: 0401498263
Join us as we take on the western side of Mt Tanglefoot in the Toolangi State Forest.
NOTE: This is A MODERATE to CHALLENGING hike which will see us take on one large hill, so will require a reasonable level of fitness.
But we will take our time and will be rewarded with some of the region's most pristine forest bushland.
We will start at the Wirrawilla car park and head upwards towards Mt St Leonard and hopefully weather permitting take in some wonderful views before we head towards and around Mt Tanglefoot.
From there we will start the long walk downwards via the myrtle gully track towards an amazing raised forest walk before heading back to the cars.
We will arrange to meet for a late lunch after the hike (optional).
