Welcome to the official Meetup group for Pride of Our Footscray Community Bar - your go-to space for queer connection in the west!
We're here to bring LGBTQIA+ folks and allies together through fun, friendly, and fabulous events - from speed dating and social mixers to movie nights, comedy shows, and everything in between. Whether you're new to the community, new to Melbourne, or just looking to meet more queer legends, this is the place for you.
Come for the laughs, stay for the vibes, and leave with new friends (or maybe something more 💘).

The Old Days New Year's Eve Party

Dress code: Whatever 'the old days' mean to you - we're expecting to see the best of every decade, from hippies & disco to grunge & Y2K!
Music: All the hits from the 1970s - 2010s, courtesy of DJ Adrian.

Queen of Hearts Speed Dating - Sapphic Session

Hosted by the bisexual icon Ruby Slippers who will help you with icebreakers and conversation starters, and even perform a fabulous burlesque show as the finale. (Link to booking)
Doors open 6pm with speed dating running 6:30 - 8:30pm. Each ticket is $10 entry only or $20 including a free cocktail of your choice. Book online or pay at the door (bookings preferred).
Note: This event is intended for the FLINTA* community who identify as sapphic/WLW/lesbian. We would love to hear if there is interest in holding these events for other genders and sexualities, please let us know!
