Welcome to the official Meetup group for Pride of Our Footscray Community Bar - your go-to space for queer connection in the west!
We're here to bring LGBTQIA+ folks and allies together through fun, friendly, and fabulous events - from speed dating and social mixers to movie nights, comedy shows, and everything in between. Whether you're new to the community, new to Melbourne, or just looking to meet more queer legends, this is the place for you.
Come for the laughs, stay for the vibes, and leave with new friends (or maybe something more đ).

Pride of our Footscray proudly presents the finest queer comedy in the West (or anywhere frankly)!
Pride Comedy is one of Melbourne's most hilarious events, featuring a rotating line-up of different talented LGBTQIA+ comedians every single month. Visit @pridecomedyau on Instagram for line-up updates.
Tickets are just $20 each (Link to booking), with cocktail and food packages also available! You can also feel free to bring takeaway from one of the fantastic restaurants nearby.
Doors open at 6:30pm, so please come early to get your drinks and food before the show starts. The show starts at 7:30pm and runs for approximately two hours (including intermission).

Get ready for the upcoming movie release of Wicked: For Good with a huge sing-a-long drag âconcertâ featuring 10 of Wicked's best and biggest songs! (Link to tickets)
With âliveâ performances by drag artists Krayola, Trash, Xena Ghost, Linh Uendo, Sindel Storm, Izzy Inyette, Mischa en Scene, and Rosie Roulette.
Bust a move at the most swankified place in town, as our DJs play your favourite musical theatre and pop hits all night long!
This is the ultimate tribute event for Wicked fans, and itâs sure to leave you changed⊠for good.
Note: Ticketholders MUST arrive by 10pm for guaranteed entry. After 10pm we will begin to take walk-in's, and you may have to wait if we are at capacity when you arrive.

Doors open 6:30pm and balls drop at 7:30pm sharp. Please ensure you allow plenty of time to be seated and get your food and drink before the show starts!

We've heard you loud and clear, and we're excited to present the first sapphic session of Queen of Hearts Speed Dating!
Hosted by the bisexual icon Ruby Slippers who will help you with icebreakers and conversation starters, and even perform a fabulous burlesque show as the finale. (Link to booking)
Doors open 6pm with speed dating running 6:30 - 8:30pm. Each ticket is $10 entry only or $20 including a free cocktail of your choice. Book online or pay at the door (bookings preferred).
Note: This event is intended for the FLINTA* community who identify as sapphic/WLW/lesbian. We would love to hear if there is interest in holding these events for other genders and sexualities, please let us know!
