Jeffrey and I will be spending a couple of nights (12/23 & 12/24) in downtown San Antonio enjoying the holiday vibe on the River Walk. We welcome you to join us for part of either day (e.g., drive in for the day and an early dinner at Mi Tierra), stay one night, or both nights. You are responsible for your own transportation to and from San Antonio. There's plenty to do: stroll on the River Walk, see the sights on a river boat ride, dine at Mi Tierra and/or shop at the Historic Market Square. Hikers can walk part or all the Mission Trails. Or a shorter walk (3 miles, one way) to the historic Pearl brewery complex offering dining, shopping, and a farmers' market. Please note that we will be walking to most of our destinations, so bring your walking shoes! We have a family commitment on Saturday, 6 to 10:00pm so you will be on your own at that time.

ACCOMMODATIONS:
You are responsible for booking your accommodations. Jeffrey and I will be staying at the Omni Hotel Resort, La Mansión Del Rio (River Walk View room with a Balcony!) but there are plenty other hotels on or near the river walk for those who have reward points in any number of hotels (Hilton, Marriott, etc).
