Postponed due to illness: Help Solve "Who-Done-It" at the Murder Mystery Dinner!
Details
We apologize, but must postpone this event because of illness. We will reschedule with the same players asap.
THE MURDER MYSTERY MUST BE SOLVED! Saturday, August 12
RSVPs open July 15
The murderer is on the loose and noted Psychic Sleuth Patrice Parrot has been called in to investigate the heinous crime that left industrialist and patron of the arts, Marion Exploitante, dead at her niece's country cottage on an estate on the outskirts of Paris. It is known that Mlle. Exploitante hosted a late-night dinner party there for several friends, including many celebrities, following the opening of the new opera Princess Elektra. Psychic Sleuth Parrot is conducting her investigation at the scene of the crime and has instructed that all the guests reconvene there for questioning.
At this time, Ms. Parrot has not commented on the manner of death except to say it was not of "les causes naturelles" and does not appear to have been "un accident." Mlle. Exploitante, 58, was France's wealthiest industrialist and a generous patron of the arts who had numerous affairs with famous artists and musicians. " I have three great passions " she once declared, "money, music, and men--but not necessarily in that order."
Would you like to help solve the mystery? If you've never been to a Murder Mystery Party, it's a ton of fun! Here are the parameters:
- Greg and I have our roles, and Psychic Inspector Patrice Parrot has been cast. We also have 3 women and 1 man from our last waitlist, so we only need 3 more men to play the remaining guests and complete the cast!
- All participants will be notified by email if you are cast in a role, and will receive a character description and plot of how the evening will proceed.
- You will be expected to dress the part, be familiar enough to stay in your character, and know what information your character must share ~ but not necessarily with everyone!
- We need the ladies to bring canapes and the gentlemen to bring nice wines. Greg and I will provide dinner, and "Patrice" is bringing dessert.
Note: Our first two Murder Mystery dinners were great fun! We are now ready to find out who will be the murderer this time!
