First Monday Happy Hour ~ this month ONLY on 2nd Monday!

Neither Andy nor I can make it to our HH on the first Monday of May, so for this month, we are going to push it to the second Monday, rather than skip it. The good news is, we will be meeting at our new venue, The Bon Aire in the Crosswoods Shopping Center on Research Blvd.

They are really looking forward to having us! We will be gathering in the back, on the right side of the bar. Bon Aire has a full bar with a large selection of draft beers and specialty cocktails. The menu has a variety of inexpensive options including burgers, brats, wings, kababs, and toasted ravioli.

You don't HAVE to be a newcomer to attend this event, but if you ARE a "newbie," and live north of the river, this happy hour was created with YOU in mind! It is a great way to become acquainted with some of our established members and get a feel for whether this group is a good fit for you. It’s also a great way to meet other newcomers who are joining us at the same time.

On the other hand, if you are already a member, we encourage you to attend, even if you haven't participated in a while. You will find this to be a welcoming, friendly gathering where you can mingle and make connections with other like-minded people "of a certain age."

Monday is a slow day for the bar, and they don't have wait staff working.
That means we'll have to place our orders ourselves at the bar. We can handle that, right? Right!
