Greg Kearns talk at College Park Airport

Greg Kearns will give a talk on the status of the beloved Osprey, the iconic raptor of the Chesapeake and its tributaries. We've heard reports recently about the threat to a key component of the Osprey’s food chain, the menhaden. But this year an even more insidious threat has emerged, moving it's way up the tributaries of the Chesapeake.

Greg Kearns has long studied and banded the Ospreys of the region, and his dynamic speaking style draws large crowds.

The meeting will open at 7 pm, for informal discussion. The formal program will start at 7:30. The program is free and open to the public.
