Queer Writers Club

Whether you’re crafting prose, poetry, plays, essays, anything else, or even if you’re just starting — this is a place for you! Here you can share your words, get constructive feedback from fellow queer creatives, ask for support and advice — and join the group of friends who help each others grow!But this is not just a writing group! We’re also creating a quarterly printed and digital zine COUNTERCARE — a collection of short stories, poems, essays, and more from within our community. You don’t have to participate in the zine to join the writing group, but if you’re looking to be part of something collaborative and see your work come to life beyond the page — this is your invitation!
Approximate agenda for every session:
- 1st hour: writing exercises
- 2nd hour: discussion and/or silent writing

- Issue #2 is currently in progress. The theme for the issue is “desire and regret”. Deadline for submitting drafts is October 5.
