Queer Filmmakers Club - Workshop Edition

Barely any art form is as collaborative as filmmaking. And many queer filmmakers know what it feels like to create within teams where heteronormative perspectives dominate — where queer ideas are softened, sidelined, or reduced to “niche.” We want to shift that. This is a space for queer filmmakers to come together — to connect, exchange knowledge and resources, and build a network rooted in queer perspectives and storytelling.

Our monthly workshop edition serves as a kick-off meeting for a "Make one shortfilm per month challenge" where we build a team, brainstorm and conceptualise ideas together, figure out production questions and determine roles. The main purpose is to work together, have fun and build relationships that hopefully go on to do bigger projects.
