Paddle Farrington Lake in East Brunswick NJ. The plan would be to take about 3 hours to complete a full tour of the lake; however, the event will be broken into two parts to accommodate people looking to do a shorter paddle.

For the first part we will head south from the Lower Farrington Boat Ramp off Hardenburg Lane and make our way to the vicinity of the Church Lane Bridge before heading back up to the starting point. The trip should take about an hour and 30 minutes round trip. After a short break back at the original launch point, for the second part we will head north from the Lower Farrington Boat Ramp and make our way up to the Farrington Lake Spillway and back. That trip should take about an hour and 30 minutes round trip with a stop at Bicentennial Park which has a restroom available. Participants would have the option of joining just the South section paddle for the first 1.5 hours of the event OR choosing to paddle both the North and South sections for approximately 3 hours in total. Note: I don’t recommend that beginners attempt the full 3 hour paddle. In my opinion, they should just stick with the first part only (South section) which would involve paddling from 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM.

There are no rentals at this location. Also, there are also no amenities at the launch spot but Bicentennial Park is down the road and does have a restroom (about a half mile from the launch spot).
