Pro-Feminist Action Book Club

Hi everyone, the next Bookclub will be on July 9th, and we will start a new book, brought by Ruben: The Care Manifesto by the Care Collective.

This book - written by a London-based reading group aiming to understand and address the multiple and extreme crises of care -takes a look at the way our care networks are today, tries to understand how they were historically, evaluates what went wrong, and tries to lay a plan forward, (re)constructing our proximity community with a focus on care.

Our aim in this first session will be to go through the introduction, where the authors diagnose the interconnectedness of carelessness across global, state, community, and interpersonal levels, the first chapter, about "Caring Politics", and maybe the second one, "Caring Kinships".
