Pro-Feminist Action Book Club

Hi everyone, the next Bookclub will be on 6th of August, and will continue our analysis of The Care Manifesto by the Care Collective.

This book - written by a London-based reading group aiming to understand and address the multiple and extreme crises of care -takes a look at the way our care networks are today, tries to understand how they were historically, evaluates what went wrong, and tries to lay a plan forward, (re)constructing our proximity community with a focus on care.

After the introduction, diagnosing a growing carelessness, and the first chapter about crafting a political-self centered on the radical idea of Universal Care, we will now approach the long-awaited question - how do we build on these ideas to create a Caring Community? With the third chapter as our roadmap, we'll be discussing these and other ideas.
